The Nigerian Presidency reportedly spent nearly N20 million on decorating a 300-capacity hall at the Sheraton Hotel for an unspecified event. This expense, along with another N57.8 million for catering at a Democracy Day event, has sparked concerns over the government's spending habits. Additionally, the Presidency faced criticism for transferring almost N20 million into a private account for entertainment-related expenses, raising questions about the transparency of these financial decisions under the Tinubu administration.

The Nigerian Presidency has come under scrutiny for spending N20 million on decorating a hall at Sheraton Hotel for a government event. This expenditure, along with other significant spending on catering and entertainment, has raised concerns about financial transparency within the current administration. Critics are questioning the appropriateness of these expenses, especially during times of economic challenges, as they appear excessive and misaligned with public expectations of responsible governance.
