We are in a generation where everyone want to be famous (influencer personality) even the unborn child can't wait to be born, forgetting that there is a place of learning and growth.
Once you missed that stage it can't be regain back, it one thing to be famous but it boils down to, doing it in a modest way. when watching some content creator on social media, i said to myself does it worth watching and i blessed or is my I.Q robust through the content.
Creating a content as to do with something on the mind, what are your mind filled with? Is it Educative or does it portray Godly content in it. we have so many content creator in the christian world. Talk of The Bamiloye's let's give them a top notch, Praiseworld, Stalwart lovers, Omolara Ayoola, Femi Adebile, Fele Durotoye, Debola Dejikurumi. They are really doing well in the christian world.
The generation where being the only quest for both young and old. Online fame is the order of the day not caring the influence it has on the audience.
Truth be told, social media has became a reasonable source of information dissemination, money making platform, business orientation and also a pressurizing instrument for reasonable Youth. platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube etc are of great influence in the job of social media influencing that we all have become the employee.
I do not dissent being an influencer but the motive behind it, has became my major concern so i had a critical thought and i came up with this few words.
Digital content creating is creating content to use for marketing or sales strategies while influencing is helping someone or a business reach a wider audience and helps in growing followers.
When content creating or influencing goes beyond these standards then its pretty not needed. But recently our influencers have gone against the main objectives and it has became an eyesore seeing nothing but sexualization, indecency and disgusting contents.
