THE DIVERSE COLOURS OF EXISTENCE: OPPORTUNITIES AND PERSPECTIVES
Surely you have heard the adage, "Opportunities only present themselves once," but I am here to tell you otherwise. We have no idea how time works or the aging process. Individuals cannot predict what will occur to them in the present, the past, or the future.
The same holds for relationships, the likelihood of achieving our desires, where we will be in the future, etc. Where am I going with all of these? We have no genuine knowledge because we thrive in uncertainty.
Humanity has repeatedly attempted to describe the world and its contents in ways they deem appropriate. Based on a recently released United Nations report from Worldometers, there are currently 7.96 billion people on this planet. As a result, there is a wide range of viewpoints, personality types, and dreams.
Now, you can't tell me that there aren't going to be multiple instances of repeated happenings. I am not just speaking from the viewpoint of a single person, but rather from a broader angle. Because the world is not black or white, we should not limit our thinking to only one perspective.
When we attempt our best or aren't prepared for what's coming, the popular saying that opportunity comes only once can make us sad. For the sake of everyone's happiness, let's go over a few ideas on how to break out of this limited mentality.
Create a purpose
Your life will be a more enjoyable experience if you take the time to develop goals and live with a purpose in mind. People and experience can all tell you to give up, so this could be the push you need to keep going. Moreover, the path to intentionality might be difficult since you may doubt your motivations.
Take up a creative hobby
Identifying your hobbies is the first step. It's important to think about things you're interested in and that easily pique your interest. Consider your preferences as a starting point for brainstorming potential job paths or fields of study.
To achieve the expected goal, creativity necessitates the exploration and advancement of one's understanding of something new. As a result, rather than becoming mired in a single perspective, the mind is free to consider other possibilities.
Make an effort to expand your social circle
Meeting new people helps because people from other cultures and backgrounds have their own unique set of experiences and ideas. This can help you loosen up and acknowledge the possibility that there are multiple "correct" ways to view things.
If you want to expand your social circle, you should travel, volunteer, teach, or use social media to meet new people. Who knows, you might even improve your ability to deal with disappointment and broaden your positive outlook.
Test your ethical boundaries
When you find ways to challenge your principles and expose yourself to a wide range of ideas, principles, and outcomes, you will be more open and tolerant in your reasoning.
Although you can't always agree with the views or belief systems of others, you'll be able to consider and appreciate their point of view. This talent will come in handy for you to converse with others and adjust your ideas to different situations.
Reviewing moral quandaries and analyzing them carefully can help with self-growth. The more often you try to see things in a different light, engage in new adventures, and associate with various individuals, the greater thinking flexibility you will have.
Your objectives, goals, and aspirations are worth the effort you put into them, so don't stop. Don't listen to warnings that opportunities may only appear once; they never go away. If you're sick of hearing the same old nonsense in different guises, work on generating your own opportunity.
I believe I have touched on every aspect of this topic. You may have better thoughts. Please feel free to share them.
