WHY FAILURE SHOULD SHAPE YOU

WHY FAILURE SHOULD SHAPE YOU

In the majority of my posts, I have been focusing on the concepts of healthy life such as AddictionSmoking, and many others.

Today we should be looking into something inspirational because how can you live a healthy life if you are not inspired?

In this blog post, we will be discussing what failure means, why and how it should shape you, and possibly offer some personal experiences that can inspire you.

Introduction

The rest fail! Had always been the voice of my primary school teacher when calling out results after the end of a term. It became a routine of always being among that “the rest fail” statement.

Though you might not naturally feel the shame in it because it probably didn’t happen to you, but as a youngster who saw failure as being rejected by society, it had a great negative impact on my ego and self-confidence.

Fast forward time, that has become only a fraction of my memory, not causing any drawback to my potential academic growth.

What is Failure?

According to Merriam-Webster, Failure is the omission of occurrence or performance, specifically a failure to perform a duty or expected action.

In simpler terms, it’s when we don’t achieve the desired outcome or meet our goals. While failure can be embarrassing and painful, it’s essential to recognize that it doesn’t define our self-worth or potential. Instead, it provides valuable learning opportunities.

How Failure Can Shape You

The term failure naturally means more and more devastating than how simple the definition might be. The most heartbreaking part of it is how greatly it has impacted our society negatively.

I hate failure at all costs, I hate it, I like accomplishment”, a cute lady once said to me during a survey.

Then she went on to elaborate on how she gets motivated to start over again after failing, even when she feels she isn’t good enough.

You might at one point in your life failed, which probably caused you a lot of pain only you can tell. But how did it shape you? How well has it helped you to grow?

The problem is not about failing, but what did you learn from it? how have you gathered your crumbled self to start over again for good?

Just as the cute lady said, we all like accomplishments, and we all desire to achieve greatness, but sometimes life presents you with the opposite.

Even when all errors are checked, even when our hopes and expectations are as high as the far reaches of the universe, failure will present itself in the most extraordinary way you never expected.

Conclusion

There are moments we desperately want to win, and there are moments we need that spark of life to achieve greatness, but these moments sometimes seem not to come, and even when they do, it’s a different story entirely.

Here is the kicker, failure is inevitable, it can happen to anyone, at any time regardless of race and culture, but if we could understand what failing means and sometimes see it as a step to motivate our growth, our lives would change drastically for good.

If we can stop losing hope after every little setback, if we can stop giving up at every first trial, we will be able to understand how life works and achieve our greatness.

Yes, there is no success without failure, but sometimes try not to fail and always remember too that there is no blog post without you, so make sure to always check back for more inspirational blog posts from me.
