Kó Má ṣE'RAN (PEACE BE STILL)
But why does my heart beat like the bata drums played at the Olojo festival?
The issues of life drowning me up like I'm in the middle of Osun river.
My heart feeling too jiggy and I just want life to pause even for a millisecond.…
This was life for Kemi just at the age of 18,
A young girl full of potentials and youthfulness yet lives life like a caged bird.
Where do I go?
Who do I tell?
Who can I trust?
These questions keeps ringing in her head like children singing nursery rhymes in kindergarten..
Kemi has tattooed the slogan “i'll make mama proud” at the front of heart. And now she can't tell mama things because her Blood Pressure will skyrocket and she will start overthinking.
The worst of them all is that Kemi has a lot of alákatò and always look like a dummy when she talks about her dreams.
Wo, Mo máa sé bí í she says
The only way forward now is to keep living, to keep living now is under the mercy of Oluwa..
Kemi knew that In the midst of stormy nights, when worries rage like harmattan winds and fears creep in like thieves in the night
Kó má ṣe'ran, Peace, be still.🕊️😌
And the only thing pushing her through is that “one day e go beta”, though it may seem as an impossible promise, Kemi never let her guard down. She stepped up her game because in the face of adversity and strife, she always stand firm, like the rocks of Olumo
Kó má se'ran, Peace, be still.🕊️😌
So my dear friend do not be overwhelmed by circumstances and issues of life. Keep pushing because truly e go beta. Smile and enjoy life, why don't you see life from the other aspect? You have been going through challenges but you always overcome. That's to show what ever situation, you go through you will always overcome and you are bigger than that situation
Ọjọ́ kò máa fi ọ̀sán lọ
Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni Ayo máa fi ọ̀rọ̀ lọ"
Weeping may endure for the night but happiness comes in the morning..
