UEFA ANNOUNCES TOP THREE NOMINEES FOR BOTH BEST PLAYER AND COACH

UEFA officially announce top contenders for both players of the year and and coach of the year. 

For the first time Messi or Ronaldo was not on the top three player, given their poor performance with their respective club last season. 

Benzema and Courtois made huge impact to Real Madrid success in the Champion League winning LA Liga, Champion League and the recent UEFA Super Cup. 

De Bruyne was also successful with Man City winning the Premier League and EFL Cup.
