WEIGHT OF OVERTHINKING
🗣️ I don’t even know why I feel this way. It's overwhelming".
🗣️ “Can you give more insight?”
🗣️"I get restless, easily irritated by the slightest things and my mind feels heavy, like it’s carrying too much at once, and when I get frustrated about it, i snap at people. I don’t want to, but it happens. And the worst part? Even when I’m not actively thinking about anything, I still feel uneasy. It follows me into the night, making me unable to sleep well.
I asked myself "Am I just a problematic person?" The thought crosses my mind several times.
“I don’t know. I just feel mentally drained. And I hate making mistakes. Even the thought of failing makes me panic.”
🗣️ “Why does failure scare you so much?”
🗣️ “I don’t want to disappoint myself. Or anyone. I feel like I have to get everything right, and when I don’t, it feels like I’ve failed as a person.”
🗣️ " But is that really true?","Do mistakes mean you’re a failure? Even the most successful people mess up. What if failure isn’t the enemy you think it is?"
🗣️ " I’ve always seen failure as something to fear, something that shouldn’t happen".
"So, what should I do".
🗣️ "First you have to understand that failure doesn't define your ability, it shapes you. You start by being kinder to yourself", “When you feel overwhelmed, pause. Breathe. Remind yourself that it’s okay to struggle. You are not a problem, you are just someone who’s trying.”
Fear of failure can feel like an invisible weight, making even the smallest mistakes seem unbearable. But failure isn’t the opposite of success, it’s part of the journey.
Instead of letting fear control us, we can choose to be patient with ourselves, to learn, and to grow. It doesn't have to be perfect. Everything comes step by step.
