BACK UP PLAN

I stared at him as she spat out his nonsense.

     "So what do you want me to do?" I asked giving him a sarcastic stare.

        "What do you mean what do I want you to do?" " You have to fill in for her" he asked with that authoritative tone I had grown to hate.

He couldn't be serious, I had love him unconditionally, giving my all and wasting my youthful years on him. 

He knew, yet kept me at bay, using me like his trash bin.

He shamelessly chased  Fola and now., because she had turned him down, he is here telling me to fill in for her like the alternative I was, the back up plan.

    I watched him continue talking like he own me, sitting like he had it all., I noticed the shirt he wore and remembered I had bought it- all his shirts actually. I chuckled inwardly, laughing at how stupid I had been.

        " Femi, fuck you!!" I muttered, hissing loudly as I walked out on him but not without showing off the 4 carat diamond engagement ring on my fingers, smiling brightly at his mockery.
