Life's a constant test,
Desires unmet, a feeling of unrest.
A simple life, but we're rejected still,
For every want, we must pay the bill.
Penny by penny, the cost keeps on rising,
Posts and joy, all come with a pricing.
Meals, rest, shelter, clothing too,
Protection and needs, all require dues.
Sacrifices made, in one way or another,
Disheartening, indeed, like a weight to smother.
We see others thriving, keeping up the pace,
Wondering how they accomplished with grace.
Some have support, both parents in their stride,
Finding success, with love as their guide.
Others, with just one, still find their way,
But for some, it's a different play.
Stability lacking, with parents not yet strong,
Or one left to provide, where they belong.
And some have none, facing life's cruel test,
But they're ready to run, giving their best.
The influence of time, a battle we face,
Comparisons haunt, adding to the chase.
But remember, my friend, it's our own race to run,
Surviving the struggles, a victory hard-won.
Cravings and needs, they bring severe pain,
But survival is a revival, a chance to regain.
