"Valen-what?"
"Valentine!!!" squealed Susan.
Amanda was in no mood to listen to her sister's interrogation,so she kept sorting out the papers inside her file bag.
"So you dont have any plans for Valentine?" asked Susan again.
"Have I finished planning my life, that I'll start planning for Valentine?"
Susan rolled her eyes.
"It's just 24 hours,babe. Before you blink it's over"
"Yes and before I blink, many hearts will be broken and breakfast will be served sumptuously"
"It's not fair to wish bad things on others."
"Wether I wish it or not, it would happen" replied Amanda.
"Well,Ethan's Church will be having a Valentine themed hangout this evening and he invited me. It's my turn to invite you"
"I'm not coming o, Susan. Please leave me alone"
"I want you to come… Please na… I know you've been bitter since the incident with Kunle but you cant let the bitterness get the best of you."said Susan.

Amanda didn't even want to remember or the tears would start fighting to come out of her eyes. What did Susan know? She would never understand.
Valentine's day was a scam.
If you loved someone, you wouldnt wait for Feb 14th to prove it.
Infact someone could hate you for 364 days and claim to love you on just one day.
And after a few "awws" and "oh my gosh", you'll allow yourself to be blindfolded by the material things and in the moment feelings.

The only person she was going to love now, was Jesus.
As a matter of fact, she would rather enter a Black Maria and spend the evening in prison than to go to any "Valentine themed hangout".
"I'm not bitter my dear, I just dont feel like going anywhere today. You can go out and enjoy yourself."
"Okay ohhh. I'm going to get my outfit ready "said Susan, getting off her sisters bed.
Amanda watched her intently as she left her room.
Susy baby, shebi you're claiming love with Ethan. When he cheats on you, you will come and cry on my shoulder.
