In an effort to reflect the evolving music industry, the Recording Academy has introduced several category updates to "enhance the integrity and inclusivity of the GRAMMY Awards," according to Academy officials.
Among the changes, the new "Best Dance Pop Recording" category replaces the former "Best Pop Dance Recording," while "Best Remixed Recording" now falls within the Pop & Dance/Electronic Field.
